BTS: Our glamping Christmas soirée
It’s that time of year again where we gather together as a family and celebrate all our efforts for the year just passed, and what a year! With the release of our third baby the Earth & Sea collection and our exciting new bath range we sure had plenty to celebrate! We thought it may be a little hard to beat the beautiful Grove Byron Bay last year, but this year The Beach People went a little outdoorsy (in style, of course). The team got to sleep under the stars in a camping experience like no other. Flash Camp set up our beautiful bohemian bungalows for the evening, a glamourous tent that is fully furnished with beautiful king-sized beds, fresh towels, solar powered lighting, rugs, bamboo furniture and to top it off Biology Skin toiletries. These guys can help set you up for any summer festivity from parties, weddings, festivals and special events. It’s truly an experience you won’t forget.
Upon arrival our team was greeted by a refreshing beverage showcasing the flavours from BNE Soda Co. Their premium quality soda syrups made with local and seasonal produce was just what was needed to cool off and get the celebration started. As we floated through the evening Harvest Newrybar set up the most amazing grazing board that was perfectly accompanied by delectable wines from Blossom Hill who supplied us with Rose, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.
The guys from Stone & Wood, craft beer that is born and raised in Byron Bay, helped us again to fuel the party. We also had a new party guest, Ink Gin. Another local favourite, this handmade, organic infused craft spirit is a true game changer. Forget clear gin, the rich colour of Ink Gin is derived from the deep infusion of petals from an exotic blue flower. As you mix it, the colour changes from deep blue to blush pink. It is naturally infused with no preservatives or chemical stabilizers and gets a big tick from our team! Plus it’s made just down the river from Victoria’s house, winning!
The bohemian style and feel of the Flash Camp set up was an enchanting backdrop for our Christmas celebration. We all slept soundly in our little huts before waking up to a group dip in the ocean followed by feasting some more on a breakfast bar supplied by the guys at Harvest, a particular shout out to their croissants… mmmh buttery goodness.

It really feels like yesterday we were celebrating our growth in 2015, but now we look ahead to another exciting year ahead with 2017 (and all the exciting projects we have up our sleeves). For now, we take time to acknowledge and give thanks for all the special people apart of The Beach People family. To all who have supported us and invited us into their lives, homes and hearts, Merry Christmas!
