Rumi is my fourth and final baby so I really knew how I wanted the space to feel. I also definitely know what is essential for babies and what you don’t need to worry about. I remember with Lucia, my first born, I had all the bells and whistles… which is fine, you don’t know what you’re in for, so like every first time mum, you over prepare. But honestly, a comfy chair and a cosy bed for bebe, and you’re pretty much set!

Being my fourth daughter, I really wasn’t drawn to pink. So I choose a very natural colour palette. My husband often jokes that Rumi is loving her oatmeal coloured world! It’s just the vibe I’m drawn to at the moment. I did some DIY art for her room using dried Lunarias. I love adding lots of warm textures like the throw on the white chair and vintage baskets on the book shelf.
