How to Style Your Nursery with TBP

I’m currently renovating my family home - think 70's coastal cottage with a modern twist. One of the rooms I’ve been most excited about styling is the nursery for my baby, Rumi Sunday. I’ve styled the space in soft, neutral colours, with natural furnishings in materials like rattan and light timber. Take a little sneak peek below and find out where you can shop the look for your bub’s nursery - or any room really! I’m seriously contemplating stealing a few of the pieces for my room…

Rumi is my fourth and final baby so I really knew how I wanted the space to feel. I also definitely know what is essential for babies and what you don’t need to worry about. I remember with Lucia, my first born, I had all the bells and whistles… which is fine, you don’t know what you’re in for, so like every first time mum, you over prepare. But honestly, a comfy chair and a cosy bed for bebe, and you’re pretty much set!

Being my fourth daughter, I really wasn’t drawn to pink. So I choose a very natural colour palette. My husband often jokes that Rumi is loving her oatmeal coloured world! It’s just the vibe I’m drawn to at the moment. I did some DIY art for her room using dried Lunarias. I love adding lots of warm textures like the throw on the white chair and vintage baskets on the book shelf.

Steal the Look

Rumi’s walls are painted with Dulux Antique white USA - it’s more of a creamy white.
