Stonewash vs Luxe

If you’re struggling to choose between our Stonewash and Luxe bath ranges, we suggest thinking about the climate you live in and how thick you typically like your towels. Our Stonewash range is designed to be lightweight and quick-drying, whilst our Luxe range is thicker, plusher and oversized. Both ranges are incredibly soft and absorbent, they just have a different weight and texture.

Sheet vs Towel

The main difference between a bath sheet and towel is the size. A bath sheet is the larger of the two - 95cm x 175cm vs a bath towel at 75 x 150cm. If you’re struggling to decide which one is best for you, it helps to think about who the towel is for, how big you typically like your towels to be and also how absorbent you want them. Bath sheets are great to wrap around yourself as they’re bigger in size, however they do take up more room in your linen closet and they take longer to dry. In comparison to a bath towel which is smaller to dry yourself with, but will dry quicker. Tip: we like to get a mix of both - bath sheets for the men of the house, and bath towels for the ladies and little ones.

Colour vs Neutrals

When choosing the right colour bath towels it helps to consider the palette and style of your bathroom. White or neutral coloured towels are an easy choice that will suit any bathroom, but a hint of colour can really add that wow-factor. If you’re buying white towels, one thing to keep in mind is that they do require a little more upkeep so that they stay fresh and bright. Tip: we like to have multiple colours at home so that each member of the family has their own hue, it just makes things easier at bath time.

How to best care for your bath towels

If you want to keep your towels feeling soft and fluffy, we recommend a cold machine with like colours on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low, or hang to dry outdoors. Sunshine is antimicrobial and will leave your towels smelling divine, plus you’ll save on energy bills, all while helping the planet. Our towels are luxuriously soft, there's no need for fabric softener or dryer sheets. In fact we recommend you avoid them because they could impact the absorbency of the material.
