Choosing the right towel requires considering many factors such as colour, size, shape, fabric, weave, and design. So let's go over the elements you should consider before deciding.
What is GSM?
The GSM stands for grams per square meter (g/m2). A towel's density is measured by the weight of the fabric woven into a square meter and determines the thickness and plushness of different types of towels. The lower the number, the lighter and thinner the towel. Thinner doesn't always mean cheaper, especially if the cotton is high quality and the weave is right. Thin can be fast drying, great for a quick dip and just right for you! The higher the number, the thicker the towel. These towels are great for lounging on and are super absorbent for a long day seaside.

Our Classic and Round Towels have a weight of 480 GSM making them super absorbent, plush and perfect for lounging on.
Sand-Free Cabana Towel
The Sand-Free Cabana Towel is 300 GSM, making them lightweight and quick drying, and you can fit a bunch in your beach bag (and washing machine, hello Mummas!)
Travel Towels
Our Travel Towels are a thickness of 280gsm. They are lightweight and designed for quick drying, making them perfect for travel and multi-purpose for picnics, play mats and rugs.
Size and Shape
Another consideration is the size and shape of the towel. It's good to think about where and how you plan to use your towel. All of our towels are made for a long day at the beach, but if you want to double up on one that can be a picnic rug, play mat or blanket, then our round towels or square-sized travel towels are a perfect option! Our Sand Free cabana towels are great for a quick dip in the pool, sea, creek or lake and post work out or pre-coffee.
Cotton and Weaves
All of our towels are made from 100% cotton. The Classic and Round Towels have a beautiful velour top, perfect for lounging with a terry towelling bottom. Our Classic towel range is crafted from luxurious Turkish cotton, which is renowned for its softness, fluffy texture, and absorbency. Our Travel towels feature a flat woven top with a terry towelling bottom, while our Sand-Free Cabana Towel is made from 100% soft cotton with a flat woven, sand-repellent top and absorbent terry towelling underneath for drying.
