Our Go-To Breakfast Smoothie Bowl

Having a breakfast picnic on the beach with homemade smoothie bowls is one of our favourite things to do, no matter the season. This delicious, creamy smoothie bowl is our go-to. It's super quick and easy to make, and it will satisfy your sweet cravings. Once you’ve made your bowl, pop it in a jar, grab a travel towel and your picnic basket, and you’re good to go!

Creamy Cacao & Coconut Smoothie Bowl

Serves 2-4

Ingredients:

4 frozen bananas 

1 cup ice 

1/2 cup coconut water 

1/2 cup coconut milk 

2 tbsp cacao 

1 tbsp Macca 

1 tbsp peanut butter or tahini if nut free 

1 tsp vanilla paste 

6 dates 

1 tbsp honey 

Method:

Blend all ingredients until smooth and serve in your favourite vessel. We used big jam jars, or a coconut bowl works well. Top with sliced banana and nut granola - I used our recipe. You can also add a dollop of peanut butter for added goodness.
