South East Queensland: TBP's favourite local eats
Brought to you by our TBP family; from Burleigh Heads to Byron Bay these are a few of our favourite places to eat...
1. Fish House
Along with it's serenity and composure, Fish House is a feast filled with fresh and diverse tastes of the sea. It’s ambience provides a gathering of any occasion to be fulfilled by it’s seaside location.
Louise- Account Executive
2. Rick Shores
The perfect spot to unwind after the week and catch up with friends. The banquet is a delight, or pick lots of different plates to share! Aperol spritz, ocean breeze and seaside views- what more could you ask for?
Hannah- Social Media Manager
Amazing modern Mexican food and perfect place to go with a group… That Banquet! Start your night with a drink at the bar next door (BonBon) and then head into Bonita Bonita for dinner. Cute fit out and relaxed vibe too. Did I mention they do Brunch on a Sunday… Breakfast Margarita anyone?
Jake- Manager of Creative Services
4. Good Day Coffee
BEST coffee hands down! The Toasties – Smoked ham, mushroom and triple cheese anyone? The loveliest owner’s (young husband and wife team) and staff I have encountered! Great hole in the wall style café - hanging plants, booths and communal centre table make this café a must visit on the GC. My weekend ritual!
Natalie- Customer Service Manager
5. Folk
Folk is the perfect spot to stop post surf on the way home from Byron. All the food is organic, ethically sourced and planted based - winner! I love the styling of this little spot, it’s off the beaten track nestled in amongst painted palm trees. The staff at Folk are so friendly, I have never been disappointed! Plus, there are always cute puppies out front.
