How to Make a Tequila Sour with Sesion Tequila

Follow along at home as our friend, Glen from Sesion Tequila shows you how to make a tequila sour. Perfect for Friday afternoons, Valentine’s date night, you name it.

Ingredients

60ml Sesión Tequila (vanilla infused with a vanilla pod)

30ml lime juice

15ml egg white

45ml pineapple reduction (pineapple juice heated and reduced by 1/3)

Basil leaf for garnish

Ice

Vegan option: Replace the egg white with a can of chickpeas.

What you need

A cocktail shaker (that includes a strainer, or a separate strainer)

Chosen glassware (a coupe works well)

Method

*Prep 1 day before:
- Cut vanilla pod in half and drop into bottle of Blanco, let it infuse for a minimum of 24hrs.
- Make pineapple concentrate - boil pineapple juice on stove, let it simmer and reduce by 1/3.

1. Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker.

2. Add ice and shake.

3. Strain into glass.

4. Garnish with a basil leaf.
